NRW State Conference of the VKU e.V. (Association of Municipal Enterprises)

On August 23 and 24, the North Rhine-Westphalia state specialist conference of the VKU e.V. Waste Management and Urban Cleanliness VKS (Municipal Waste Management and Sanitation Association) took place in Münster.

Under the title “Circular management, climate protection and livable communities are coded in our DNA”, indispensable topics for the waste management sector were discussed.  It was a very constructive discussion about the issues of climate protection, digitalization and innovation, as well as regarding the role of companies and the state government in these sectors.

Our team for the department of underground systems was on site as an exhibitor. Mr. Oliver Krischer, Minister for Environment, Agriculture, Nature and Consumer Protection of the State of NRW (Düsseldorf) was among the many visitors to the H&G booth-. Our “highlight”: the 100% liquid-tight underground collection container. An efficient, as well as sustainable system for the collection of e.g. residual waste, organic waste and glass.
