Profile
As an owner-managed, traditional family business, we set a global focus with a clear commitment to the development and production site in our home region of Siegerland. We have been working the national and international markets successfully for 60 years.
We develop both standardized and individual solutions in the field of disposal technology for the compaction of recyclables and waste. Our product portfolio: screw compactors, underground collection systems, steel tanks and special containers, steel products, as well as large-sized art works made of steel. Today, our products are working reliably in more than 35 countries on all continents.
Our competent, versatile and multicultural team currently consists of around 150 employees in production and administration at the site in Burbach-Niederdresselndorf.

Foundation of Oskar Greis KG
Oskar Greis, Günter Greis and Walter Henrich founded Oskar Greis KG over 60 years ago. In the newly built industrial hall, the focus was on manufacturing boilers and apparatuses. The location is the same today as it was then.
Manufacturing of skips and roll-off containers
The product portfolio was expanded to include skips and roll-off containers. This established the foundation for the H&G Group’s current product diversity and manufacturing expertise.
The KG is renamed Stahlbehälterbau Greis GmbH
Foundation of H&G Entsorgungssysteme GmbH
Bernd Henrich focuses on the development and production of innovative disposal technology – the first screw compactors and underfloor systems are manufactured.
H&G expands in Europe
The innovative disposal technology gains increasing recognition beyond the country’s borders – and the first screw compactors are delivered to other European countries.
Foundation of SFG Steelforming GmbH
Large-format steel sculptures and steel products are added to the product portfolio by SFG Steelforming GmbH.
Production and office space expanded
The new, representative office building is being built on the same location as the first production hall from 1963.
